Ghanaian esports giants, PlayProvince have announced the appointment of Alexander Ekow Boateng as the club’s Public Relations Officer (PRO).
According to the Team Manager of PlayProvince, Kweku Hammond, management of the team had been keeping close tabs on Alexander also known as “Slymorh” as they eyed him for the role.
“Ekow Boateng Alexander has always been in the eye of the management team of PlayProvince as a result of [the] excellent communication skills he exhibits,” Kweku said in an exclusive interview with EAN.
Kweku also stated that PlayProvince is looking for Slymorh to use his experience to help build the team’s image and brand.
“You know, being a PRO is about being able to share the right information to [the] right places and people and also to build the reputation of PlayProvince.”
“Slymorh will work alongside us (management team) to help us build our image in the Esports and Gaming industry.”
Alexander is PlayProvince’s second appointment in the past three days as the team seems to be on a hiring spree signing their first Mortal Kombat (MK) gamer in Eugene “FizzyDipsy” Mensah Asare.
“So basically one of our goals here at PlayProvince is to expand and get gamers from almost [every] genre of esports gaming,” Kweku said in an EAN exclusive.
“We noticed that we had no gamer for MK, [so] we decided to scout for MK gamers and through some recommendations from reliable people we got to know Asare Mensah Eugene.”
