1. One Team, One Qualification Slot
To support the growth of Africa’s competitive PUBG MOBILE ecosystem, teams are permitted to compete in both PMNC and La Cup D’Africana.
However, a team that qualifies through both competitions may occupy only one qualification slot. A team cannot retain separate PMGO Africa Final slots from both pathways.
2. The PMNC Pathway Takes Priority
Where a team appears on both the PMNC and La Cup D’Africana qualification lists, its qualification is credited through the PMNC pathway. The team therefore does not occupy the La Cup D’Africana slot.
Each national PMNC slot remains allocated to the team that earned it through the relevant national qualification pathway to the PMGO Africa Final.
The La Cup D’Africana format—including the allocation of slots to each PMNC—was determined at the beginning of the season. Therefore, when an overlap occurs, qualification is automatically credited through the PMNC pathway. It is not a pathway that the affected team may choose.

3. Allocation of the La Cup D’Africana Slot
La Cup D’Africana carried one qualification slot for the PMGO Africa Final.
The teams that finished in first, second, third and fourth place had already qualified through their respective national PMNC pathways. Because each team may hold only one qualification slot, none of those teams could also occupy the La Cup D’Africana slot.
The La Cup D’Africana slot therefore passed down the final standings to the highest-placed team that had not already qualified.
That team was RRG, who finished in fifth place.
Final Qualification Position
To be clear:
- Teams that qualified through their national PMNC retain their PMNC qualification.
- A team cannot hold both a PMNC slot and the La Cup D’Africana slot.
- La Cup D’Africana provided one qualification slot.
- Because the top four teams had already qualified through PMNC, the La Cup D’Africana slot passed to fifth-placed RRG as the highest-ranked team not already qualified.
