ECL Gaming welcomes Esports Association, Ghana

The Esports Association, Ghana (EAG) was welcomed to the ECL Gaming family yesterday May 30 in an announcement on the esports organisation’s official Twitter handle.

The announcement also revealed the inclusion of Ghanaian female esports athletes Monica Mensah Sefakor, Doreen Dabi-Diamond and Lorlor Clottey in Kitbag UK’s Female FIFA Cup to be held on June 12.

The Female FIFA Cup is an all-female tournament which will see some of the best FIFA gamers battle it out for a slice of the $1900 prize pool.

“We would like to welcome Esports Association, Ghana to the ECL family.” the tweet read “We look forward to seeing Dabi-Diamond, Lorlor Clottey and Gamergirlnica (Monica Mensah Sefakor) taking part in the Kitbag UK Female FIFA Cup across on our RUSH.GG hub!!!”

The esports organisation also thanked Esports Africa News (EAN) for their support in making the announcement possible stating “Thanks to Esports Africa News for making this possible.”

ECL Gaming is the home of women’s esports as the organisation looks to promote diversity and inclusivity in the gaming industry.
