FCF36 are the NIBBLE Pro Clubs Africa Champions League (CL) champions after defeating AFC Fodder in the Grand Final of the competition yesterday, August 4.

FCF36 kicked off their journey to the Grand Finals in Group B, where they would finish undefeated, securing 12 points in a group that saw them face off against the likes of Baby Sharks, The Avengers, Los Blancos, and MSKZA.

The team moved on to the Quarter-Finals of the competition where they faced VFL Southpros, easing past their opponents 6-2 on aggregate and keeping their undefeated streak going.

Following their victory over VFL Southpros, FCF36 got past Knock Knock (2-1) in the Semi-Finals to secure their place in the Grand Final clash against AFC Fodder, who defeated 6-time league champions No Chance CF (4-3) in their Semi-Final clash.

The first leg of the Grand Final would see the two dominant sides face off in an intense battle for “90 minutes,” with FCF36 just edging out a 2-1 victory.

AFC Fodder came out swinging in the second leg, scoring two goals without reply, but FCF36 quickly found their feet and hit back immediately, scoring six goals to end the match 6-2, wrapping up their incredible undefeated run to the title.

The NIBBLE Pro Clubs Africa Champions League was an 11-on-11 online FIFA Pro Clubs competition for Xbox players that brought together 20 of the continent’s best teams to do battle for a prize pool of R3,500 ($208.38).
