Morocco will go for gold in both Esports categories at this year’s FIA Motorsport Games, which will be the African nation’s second participation following its debut in 2022. Ahmed Erquizi will contest Esports GT, which will use the acclaimed Assetto Corsa Competizione. Ismail Oublal will compete in Esports F4, a new addition for this year’s event that will take place on iRacing. Morocco will also be present on the Karting Mini grid with youngster El Gahoudy Nahyl.

The 2024 FIA Motorsport Games will be the second outing for Mozambique. Located in southeast Africa, the nation has confirmed a diverse entry that will see it compete in five disciplines. It will be present in Karting Sprint Senior and Karting Mini. Alisha Dos Santos Costa will compete in Cross Car Mini, while Zanil Satar will chase Drifting gold for Mozambique.

Namibia will make its FIA Motorsport Games debut this year, joining its neighbours Botswana and Angola as a newcomer at the multidisciplinary event. It will do so with a solo entry in Esports F4 for Adriaan Nel, who has experience of real-world and virtual competition.

Nigeria made its FIA Motorsport Games debut in 2022 and will return for a second assault this year. Baruch Roy-Bako will lead the charge in Karting Sprint Senior, bringing his experience of both domestic and international competition to Valencia. Oluwfemi Olaoye will fly the Nigerian flag in Esports GT, while youngster Kamtoya Chukwureh will tackle Esports F4.
