The recent addition of Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak has come as exciting news for fans of both SIlk Sonic and Fortnite. The game continues to grow its “celebrity skin bank” with this recent addition. The duo’s skin will be available in the Fortnite item shop starting on February 10th. (Though players will have a chance to get them early via an in-game tournament today, February 7th.)
Fortnite has been known for mashing up pop culture worlds from Marvel, Star Wars, and others. This addition comes on the back of recent additions of celebrities like LeBron James, Neymar, Marshmello and Ariana Grande among others.
Streamers like Bugha and Ninja, also have their own skins in the game. This isn’t the first time the members of Silk Sonic have been featured in the game; Bruno has his own Fortnite emote, while Anderson.Paak was part of a virtual concert series in 2020. Outside of the new combatants and their associated gear, Fortnite is also getting a new in-game radio station called Icon Radio, which will feature tunes from the musical duo.
