Multinational esports organisation Gaimin Gladiators have announced that they have established a deal with esports agency EPIC Global that will see the agency assist the team with commercial partnerships.
The partnership with EPIC Global will take place on an international scale, as though Gaimin Gladiators’ management is based out of Canada, the team fields rosters across Europe and Southeast Asia.
Following recent appearances at the Rainbow Six Siege Berlin Major and the RLCS World Championships, the organisation is preparing for its first appearance at Dota 2’s The International.
The team also has rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Warcraft III, Pokémon Unite, fighting games, and card games and has signed numerous content creators.
Currently, Gaimin Gladiators are partnered with prebuilt PC manufacturer Stoneforged and their owned and operated crypto-mining platform Gaimin.gg. This whitespace gives EPIC Global many opportunities to sign partnerships on the team’s behalf.
EPIC Global currently represents a mix of esports teams, gaming advocacy charities, sports teams and athletes, such as Tundra Esports, Rehab Group, Norwich FC and Nottingham Forest FC’s Jesse Lingard.
Similarly, the agency has worked with a variety of brands such as streetwear brand Kappa, NordVPN, Ubisoft, TikTok and more.
Craig Winfield, Commercial Manager at EPIC Global told Esports Insider: “It was clear from the offset that Gaimin Gladiators wanted to disrupt the space and their passion was obvious.”
“Gaimin Gladiators are here to compete at the highest level in a number of esports titles and we look to match this ambition in their commercial offering to brands.”
He continued: “I’m excited to be working with the team and look forward to speaking with potential brands about what Gaimin Gladiators can deliver.”
Gaimin Gladiator’s recent competitive success has made the team more attractive to brands. This partnership will allow EPIC Global to strike while the iron is hot and build on Gaimin’s competitive momentum.
