Kaylan free agent ahead of FIFA 23 season

South African (SA) FIFA esports player, Kaylan “Kaylan” Moodley, is set to be a free agent ahead of the FIFA 23 season.

This was revealed by the player, who is currently on the books of SAF, on social media where he stated that the team have been “kind enough to let me assess any possible opportunities that may come my way regarding joining another organisation for the FIFA 23 season.”

The player, however, revealed that it is not a certainty that he will be leaving his current team, SAF, stating, “I will add that’s it’s not 100% that I will be leaving SAF.”

Kaylan has been impressive during the FIFA 22 season, claiming victories in the 2v2 Johannesburg Open and the FIFA Global Series (FGS) 4 Africa. He also placed second at the Ooredoo-powered FIFA 22 Champions Cup. The SAF gamer also represented South Africa in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022 MEA Online Qualifiers.

Speaking about the FIFA 22 season, Kaylan spoke about his performance during the FGS Africa Qualifiers, stating that he missed the playoffs due to “a terrible start in the FGS Qualifiers and unfortunately I peaked too late.”

The SAF gamer spoke about his plans for the upcoming FIFA 23 season, stating that he plans to “be a lot more consistent regarding content creation in FIFA 23.”
