The Ghanaian video game company, Leti Arts, has officially launched a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project on the American online NFT marketplace, OpenSea.
The project, dubbed “Africa Legends,” features African heroes created by Leti Arts that represent the continent’s culture and diversity. “Africa’s Legends is an action-packed pop culture superhero universe set in a near-future Africa.” Leti Arts said in a statement.
“It explores, celebrates, and preserves traditional African folklore and history in [the] context of current issues and makes it accessible to the masses.”
The African Legends are a new group of people who have discovered their ancestral routes and the powers they create. They are the first organised group of African superheroes and are actively exploring Africa for new members to re-ignite pride in our youth to be genuinely excited about our heritage.
