MENA’s rep for FIFAe Nations Cup found

Following a gruelling qualification process, the Middle East and Africa (MENA) have found their representatives for the 2022 FIFAe Nations Cup to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from July 27 to 30.

The nations to represent the region are the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Morocco and Kazakhstan all of whom earned their rights to do so at the 2022 FIFAe Nations Series Playoffs.

The UAE kicked off their route to qualification with three wins and four losses in the Group Stages before moving on to the Playoffs where they would defeat all that came before them to set up a Grand Final match against Morocco which they would defeat.

Second-place Morocco would book their place in the Grand Final of the MENA Playoffs by beating third-place Kazakhstan in the semis 3-2. Kazakhstan would book the last slot at the 2022 FIFAe Nations Cup, by defeating Kuwait 6-3 in the lower bracket.

The three teams join Denmark, Japan, India, South Korea and Singapore as the current line-up for the upcoming FIFAe Nations Cup.

The 2022 FIFAe Nations Cup is set to kick off on July 27 to 30 in Copenhagen at the Bella Arena and is set to see 24 teams from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $400,000.
