On October 2, Moroccan esports organisation, One Million Esports, were crowned the 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Africa Fall champions, taking home the $12,000 first place prize as well as a spot at the 2022 PMPL Middle East and Africa Championship Fall to be held from October 13-16.
One Million Esports’ team of Mouad “ELCHAPO” Mokhtari, Salah “MARSHALL” Khomri, Oussama “LAZY” Tourki, Omar “Senku” Mrabet and Ali El “VENOM” Amri got the better of 20 of the continent’s best PUBG Mobile teams in a competition that ran from August 30 to October 2.
The team secured a total of 299 points in the finals of the competition to earn their title, 29 points more than their closest competitor, Titan Gaming (270) from Kazakhstan and 58 points ahead of Nigerian esports giants Slime 4kT (241).
The 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Africa Fall brings together 20 of the continent’s best PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) teams to do battle in a completely online tournament from August 30 to October 2 for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool and the 6 available spots for the 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Middle East & Africa Championship Fall.

The 2022 PMPL Middle East and Africa Championship Fall will see the six African teams take on the 10 PUBG Mobile Pro League-Arabia Fall Qualifiers Falcons Esports, R8 Esports, Geekay Esports, Nigma Galaxy, POWR Esports, Conqueror Iraq, Ooredoo Thunders, For Kurdistan, NASR Esports, and Twisted Minds as they look to secure the competition’s three slots for the 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship to be held in November 2022.
