South African esports photojournalist, Pregan “Nerdform” Pillay, has made it into the final of Canon South Africa‘s Content Challenge.
The challenge which kicked off three weeks ago gave individuals a chance to enter their best photo in relation to gaming for a chance to win a Canon EOS M200.
Pillay who entered his photo of Goliath Gaming‘s Jabhi “Jabhim” Mabuza during his quarter-final win at Red Bull Hit The Streets has made it all the way to the finals.
“I was blessed enough to make it as a finalist to the Canon South Africa competition on Instagram.” the photojournalist said “The image that was selected was Jabhi Mabuza from Goliath Gaming quarter-final win at Hit the streets.”
Pillay also asked his fans to support him to victory by voting for his photo to win the ultimate “It would mean a lot if you could vote for me, thanks Fam!”
The other finalist for the competition is South African-based esports photojournalist Moegammad. T Abrahams whose image below shows the respect gamers build after a challenging game as well as the fun environment the emerging sport has.
Moegammad also asked for his fans’ support stating on his official Twitter handle that “If y’all haven’t voted already, please please head over to the Canon South Africa IG page, tap on their stories and vote for my image for the content challenge photo competition.”
