Egyptian esports team RA’AD claimed victory at the VRL (Valorant) 2022 MENA (Middle East and North Africa): Resilience Stage 1 – Levant and North Africa defeating Saudi Arabian team Geekay Esports 2:0 in the grand final.
RA’AD started the competition confidently claiming 13 victories in the group stage, losing only a single game to Monsters Have Hearts. The team would then make it to the playoffs where they confidently outplayed Team Majesty (2:0) before eventually making the final where they would confidently defeat Geekay Esports (2:0).
The Egyptian team following their victory booked a place in the Valorant Regional Leagues 2022 MENA: Resilience Stage 1 – Grand Finals as well as the $6,250 first-place prize.
The VRL 2022 MENA: Resilience Stage 1 – Levant and North Africa was held online from February 14 to March 10 and saw eight (8) teams from the Middle East and Africa region fight for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as a ticket to the Valorant Regional Leagues 2022 MENA: Resilience Stage 1 – Grand Finals.
