Sayo Owolabi, co-founder and CEO of Mobiele and Secretary General of the Africa Esports Development Federation (AEDF), will speak at the 2023 Gaming Expo Francophone Africa (GEFA), which will take place from March 8 to 9 in Casablanca, Morocco.
In conjunction with the 2023 GEFA, industry experts from Africa and Europe will meet to discuss growth strategies for the French African gaming industry.
Sayo, one of the most prominent voices on the continent, has been invited to a wide range of events, including the OAL Sports Business and Development Summit, the first b.creative Conference in West Africa, and even serving as the GEF’s representative at the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) Generation Connect Global Youth Summit.
In a tweet, he expressed his delight at being invited to speak at the event in Casablanca. He stated that he is excited to discuss Web 3 and other gaming-related topics.
Other professionals will join Sayo Owolabi at the event, including Ife Akintaju, the COO and co-founder of the Mobiele mobile gaming content and tournament management platform based in Africa, Kwesi Hayford, the president of the Esports Association, Ghana (EAG), and Eyram Tawia, the co-founder and CEO of Leti Arts.
