The Ghanaian gaming lounge and tournament organiser, Suntrick’s Centre, is set to hold a FIFA 22 tournament tomorrow, July 30 at the lounge’s location in Nogora Junction, Ho.
The competition is set to bring some of the Volta Region’s best FIFA gamers to do battle for one of the three available spots in Suntrick’s Centre’s esports team dubbed “Suntrick’s Esports.”
Gamers such as DaSilva, Amel, Henry, and Samuel will also be battling for a prize pool of GH₵350 ($41.36), with first place set to receive GH₵200 ($23.63), second place will receive GH₵100 ($11.82), and third place will go home with GH₵50 ($5.91).
The Suntrick’s FIFA 22 Tournament is supported by Esports Africa News (EAN) and the African online esports and gaming event management site, Esports Africa Tournament (EAT), and will see the competition use the esports platform during the competition.
EAT officially launched in the African market back in May and has already held a number of tournaments and events, including the EAT FUT Championships, EAT NBA 2K Playoffs and the Online Chess Championships, among others.
The platform which is both website and app-based gives gamers various tournament opportunities including play-to-earn and play-to-learn events.
