The DGC MEA kicks off today

The Digital Games Conference (DGC) Middle East and Africa (MEA) officially kicks off today June 15 at Warehouse Four, Dubai.

The DGC brings together gaming-related companies from over 30 countries to the region with the aim of growing their activity and helping to find partners in the Middle East.

This year’s edition of the DGC MEA is set to discuss topics including Regional Esports, Beyond Gaming, Indie Devs and Mobile Gaming.

The conference returns to a physical location, taking place at Warehouse Four in Dubai after 2 years of holding successful virtual conferences due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speakers for this year’s DGC include Bravado Gaming CEO Andreas Hadjipaschali, Head of Sports Operations MENA, TikTok Mohamed Harb, Marketing Comms Manager, Riot Games MENA Luciano Rahal among others.

Populous and Dungeon Keeper creator Peter Molyneux is set to be the event’s keynote note speaker, the popular game designer who is the founder and CEO of both Bullfrog Productions, Lionhead Studios and now 22cans brings with him four decades of experience in the video games industry.
