On Saturday, March 25, the third qualifier for Season 2 of The Toyota Game Engine (TTGE) Thumbderdome: Knuckles of Vengeance will kick off completely online.
512 of South Africa‘s top FIFA 23 players will compete in the competition, which began back in March 2018, until April 15 for a chance to win a share of R15,000 in cash awards.
Four qualifying rounds from March 18–26 serve as the Thumbderdome: Knuckles of Vengeance’s opening act. The first 128 gamers to sign up will compete in a single elimination challenge in each qualifying round. The four thumbs who prove they are the best will advance to the knockout rounds.
The Top 16 will then face off in the competition’s knockout phase on April 1 before the round’s winners advances to the quarterfinals on April 2. The final four competitors will then have to wait until April 15 to learn who advances to the final game. The final two will compete on the same day as the semifinals to determine who takes home the Thumbderdome: Knuckles of Vengeance’s R10,000 first-place prize.
Below are the rules for the upcoming round of Thumbderdome: Knuckles of Vengeance:
