Xplosion Esports holds trials for MK & NBA 2K

Ghanaian esports organisation, Xplosion Esports, is set to hold trials for Mortal Kombat (MK) and NBA 2K on July 16 and July 17, respectively, at the AllGamesGH Game Centre in Madina, Accra.

Xplosion Esports, which was officially launched back in May by founders AllGamesGH, is looking to fill their MK and NBA 2K rosters as the team will be awarding the winners of the various trials a professional contract.

The esports team recently announced they have signed the winner of their EA Sports FIFA trial, Stephen Otoo, on a 3-year deal, as Xplosion Esports looks to sign younger and relatively unknown gamers with high potential.

In an exclusive interview with EAN, the Chairman of AllGamesGH, Marvin Akowuah-Dantey, said, “At Xplosion, we believe in development, and we are hoping to sign a few youngsters. Some of these boys are in school, and we are talking to their parents and guardians.”

Since its launch, Xplosion Esports has been busy building up its FIFA and MK rosters bringing in notable names such as FIFA gamer Eugene “Genie” Asante and Mortal Kombat star Mahadi “Assassin” Abubakar, as the team looks to unveil both teams during an upcoming ShopGH esports tournament.
