The Ghanaian PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile squad Retired Boys has been crowned the Season 3 champions of the PUBG Mobile Ghana League following weeks of intense combat.
14 of Ghana’s top PUBG Mobile teams came together for the competition, which served as the nation’s qualifier for the 15th World Esports Championship of the International Esports Federation (IESF), which will take place in Iaşi, Romania from August 24 to September 4 2023.
It would however be the Retired Boys team of CASH, KowsTEN, NELLmvp, OPANKA, SPAMA77k, and KillFEED who would dethrone the 2022 champions Astra (who unfortunately could not participate at this year’s event), earning a total score of 179 points, 23 more than Try Out Squad in second place with 156 points, and 97 points more than Godly Beasts Esports in third place with 82 points.
The 2023 edition of the PUBG Mobile Ghana League was organised by the Esports Association, Ghana (EAG) with support from the African Esports Association (AESA), Motherland Gaming TV (who live streamed the entire event), and Active Gaming.
