Tema Esports looking forward to N’gohlow’s participation at GamrX

Manuel N’gohlow is set to represent Ghana in FIFA22 at next month’s 10 nations tournament GamrX and the gamer’s team, Tema Esports, are said to be excited at the gamer’s impressive development.

EAN got in contact with a rep from the team who stated that Tema Esports was “impressed with his [N’gohlow’s] commitment and success rate,” and that the team wishes him well and “hope he raises high the flag of Ghana and Tema Esports Club.”

N’gohlow defeated the in-form Prince Jonas – who won back-to-back victories at the FIFA vs PES Independence Battle – in the Finals of the Qualifiers in what was an incredibly tough challenge.

The first leg of the FInal would see the evenly matched duo tie 2-2 and the second leg looked to be heading in a similar direction with the game tied at 1-1 by the 80-minute mark, however, a late winner by N’gohlow would end Jonas’ win streak and earn him a ticket to Nigeria.

Tema Esports Club is a community esports club that looks to develop talents and according to the club’s rep they do this by “providing opportunities for athletes to develop their skills through training, participating in tournaments as well as other social development opportunities.”

“Team building has been strategic, starting small and developing the talents. Tema Esports Club has participated in many tournaments and placed in the top 3.”

“We know our potential and working to maximise our wins. We are looking forward to having a good run in our first international tournament. Fingers crossed we will replicate the wins we have had so far in Ghana.” The rep concluded

Gamr X is set to kick off on 2nd April 2022 at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria and is set to see the best players from ten African countries including Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya, Algeria, Cameroon, South Africa, Ivory Coast and hosts Nigeria compete in five game titles for a prize pool of $15,000.
