A-Team tops Rep a Country Group B
Some had dubbed Group B of GiiKs Game City‘s (GGC) Rep a Country E-soccer World Cup the “Group of Death,” but the A-Team would dominate on Saturday, November 5 at the Madagastar Esports Arena inside the West Hills Mall in Accra, Ghana, going undefeated en route to a first-place finish and a spot in the competition’s Quarter Final stage.
The A-Team, comprised of Guy Khobby and former Rep a Country champ Wondhakid, breezed through the group, which included Tema Esports, Prime Lords, Team Alpha, Team Falcon GH, and Dark Mode, winning four and drawing one match, joining Group A’s Xplosion Esports as the only undefeated teams left in the competition.

Despite the A-Team’s ease in qualifying for the Quarter Finals, Group B lived up to its title as the “Group of Death,” with only four points separating second-place Tema Esports and fifth-place Team Alpha, who, along with bottom-of-the-table Dark Mode, was ousted from the competition.

A-Team, Tema Esports, Team Falcon GH, and Prime Lords will join Black Squad, PlayProvince, Xplosion Esports, and GL Legends for the Quarter Final stage of the GGC Rep a Country E-soccer World Cup, which kicks off on November 12 at the Madagastar Esports Arena inside the West Hills Mall in Accra, Ghana.
