ACDL brackets have been drawn
The first matches for the inaugural African Call of Duty League (ACDL) have been confirmed ahead of the competition’s November 5 start date.
Every weekend in November, eight of the continent’s finest teams will compete in a 4v4 double-elimination competition on several maps and modes. The competition will begin with Arudem, Uganda’s first professional esports organisation, taking on Nemesis at 9:30 WAT.
Tonka will then face Ghanaian esports heavyweights PlayProvince, who live-streamed their training alongside Head Coach, Isaac Osei Nyantakyi, also known as “Isaac Einstein,” yesterday, October 31st, ahead of their participation in the inaugural event.
Skids will compete against Swerv in Round 1 of the ACDL, while Skare will face off against Yollo ZA for a spot in the second round. All bouts will be played online and will begin at 9:30 WAT.
The ACDL is the inaugural African Call of Duty League, with teams competing in a 4v4 double elimination competition on multiple maps and modes every weekend in November to crown the ultimate Call of Duty African champion.
The competition will begin on November 5 and will feature eight of the continent’s best teams competing entirely online for the chance to become the first-ever ACDL champion as well as a major portion of the $500 prize pool.
