Africa has only one rep at the PMPL Global Championship
Following the conclusion of the 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Middle East and Africa (MEA) Championship Fall on October 15, Moroccan esports organisation One Million Esports will be Africa’s only representation at the 2022 PMPL Global Championship.
This comes after no African-based team finished in the top three qualifying positions available for the 2022 PMPL MEA Championship Fall, with Saudi Arabia’s POWR Esports, Iraq’s Geekay Esports, and Kazakhstan’s Titan Gaming claiming the coveted slots.

It means that the team with the highest qualification points in the African Standings after the Spring and Fall Championships will be the only African team at the 2022 PMPL Global Championship. So, despite coming 11th in the 2022 PMPL MEA Championship Fall, One Million Esports will compete in the 2022 PMPL Global Championships after topping the African Standings with 1782 qualification points.
On the African Standings, Moroccan esports organisation One Million Esports finished 461 points ahead of their countrymen Leaders Esports (1321 points), and 502 points ahead of Nigerian side Slime 4kT (1280), who placed one place above One Million Esports in the 2022 PMPL MEA Championship Fall.
