African teams in FIFAe Nations Series rankings
The FIFAe Nations Series rankings have been released, and only three African nations are represented out of the 86 countries. Here’s how they’re ranked in the series so far.
Africa’s best performing team at the 2022 FIFAe Nations Series is also the continent’s top-ranked nation, as Morocco is placed in 24th position out of 86 competing nations. South Africa, which made it all the way to the competition’s Playoff Stage, is ranked 38th, 14 places behind Morocco.
The lowest-ranked of the three African nations is FIFAe Nations Series debutants Ghana, which came in at 83rd place on the list, three places above the very bottom.
At the top of the standings are 2022 FIFAe Nations Series champions Brazil, whose team of Paulo “PHzin” Henrique Chaves, Gabriel “Crepaldi10” Crepaldi, and Klinger “Klinger” Correa fought through four days of intense competition to claim the coveted prize.
Since the rankings will be revised frequently, there is still a chance that the African representatives will move up the list before the 2023 season of the FIFAe Nations Series kicks off. The following update is expected on November 20.
