Afriverse Guild to hold Thetan Arena tournament
The Nigerian esports platform, Afriverse Guild, has revealed it will be hosting a Thetan Arena tournament on August 23.
The tournament, which is open to the entire African continent, will be held completely online and will see 16 of the continent’s best teams battle it out for a slice of the $300 prize pool.
Afriverse Guild, in a statement on its social media platforms, called on gamers to “come [and] join us in having fun and making some money.”
The Afriverse Guild is a platform that is focused on giving players a diverse range of crypto-powered games to play and earn from.
So if you are an African gamer and you are interested in participating in the 4-on-4 event make sure to get your team ready and join the Afriverse Guild discord to stand a chance to earn some prize money.

HOW TO REGISTER
- After creating an account, click Join Tournament above.
- Then Join our Discord Server. We’ll be coordinating matches in the #hetan-arena-announcement channel and assisting players. FAILURE TO JOIN OUR DISCORD SERVER AND FOLLOW US ON TWITTER WOULD LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION. Reach out to Any Tournament Officials or Admin for information or help with the tournament.
- Lastly, head to your Account Settings and add your GAME NAME username in the ‘Platform Links’ tab. This will make it much easier to challenge your opponent the day of the tournament when we check into Discord.
- Every player Should join the discord channel or else your team will be Disqualified
GAME FORMAT
- 16 Teams.
- Best of 3 Matches (Death Match, Superstar and Tower). The finals will be a Best of 5.
- ONLY COMMON HEROES ARE ALLOWED IN TOURNAMENT.
- Single Elimination Bracket.
- Start Time: August 24th at 3:00 PM UTC.
