Brace For Impact Joins Forces with ESL FACEIT Group toEmpower Women and Marginalized Genders in Esports
Brace For Impact (BFI), a non-profit
Counter-Strike tournament organizer for women and marginalized genders, is today proud to announce details of an exciting partnership with leading esports company ESL FACEIT Group (EFG).The collaboration will see Brace For Impact expand its operations into South America and Europe for the very first time.
The two continents will join the BFI ecosystem with inaugural tournaments, featuring prize pots, held on January 17 and 18, alongside the already established and recurring vents in North America, South Africa, and Oceania. Future tournaments will be held on a monthly basis, taking place on the third weekend of every calendar month. As part of the partnership, BFI will also launch their own FACEIT Clubs, where members will be able to play with like-minded individuals within the greater Brace For Impact community. Clubs, according to EFG, are 24/7 community spaces, where members can meet, socialize, and play together under the flag and values of the Club owner.
Thanks to a large range of game integrations, features, and moderation capabilities, Clubs can be made into a safe space for their community to enjoy the best gaming experience.
“I’m super excited to finally be able to announce this partnership with ESL FACEIT Group,” said Brace For Impact founder Scott “ParkS” Park. “Many months of hard work from both the Brace For Impact team and EFG’s partnership group has culminated in allowing us to both run tournaments worldwide as well as FACEIT Clubs in NA and EU. “Providing consistent opportunities for our community throughout the entire year, after losing events such as Cash Cups at the start of 2025, is great and I’m glad we are able to step up and fill the gap with EFG as our partners,” Park added.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Brace For Impact and support the important work they are doing for women and marginalized genders in Counter-Strike”, said Anna Pototska, Community Partnership Manager at ESL FACEIT Group. “BFI has demonstrated a clear commitment to creating consistent, meaningful competitive opportunities, and this collaboration allows us to help scale that vision globally. By combining their community-first approach with FACEIT’s tournament and Club infrastructure, we believe this partnership can play a significant role in strengthening and sustaining the female Counter-Strike scene across multiple regions.”
