Doritos Crunch Cup Duos’ Qualifiers kick off today

Fortnite tournament the Doritos Crunch Cup has kicked off its Duos’ Qualifiers today May 9 with the first of four qualifiers.

The Duos’ Qualifiers will be held completely online as competitors battle it out for the R15,000 ($927) prize pool.

The Doritos Crunch Cup is a partnership between Doritos® and Comic Con Africa which sees the tortilla chips brand enter the gaming and South Africa esports space with a series of Fortnite tournaments.

The Crunch Cup has a prize pool of R45,000 ($2781) split between three Fortnite tournaments; Solos (R10,000/$618), Duos (R15,000/$927) and Trios (R20,000/$1236).

The Solos of the Crunch Cup wrapped up today with The Punishers Organisation‘s Krispyy claiming the top spot with ohhtem and Lezix following behind in second and third respectively.
