Esport Africa Set to Host One-Day Grassroots Tournament in Alimosho
Esport Africa has announced a first-ever one-day grassroots esports tournament scheduled to take place in Alimosho, Lagos. The event will be held on February 21, 2026, at De Dems Park, Akowonjo, Egbeda, with activities beginning at 4 PM.
Organized in collaboration with Bencap Entertainment and De Dems Park, the tournament is designed to provide a competitive platform for both casual and professional players within the local esports community.

The competition will feature EAFC 25/26 on PlayStation 5, with a total prize pool of ₦200,000, as the winner takes all. Interested participants are required to register with a fee of ₦5,000.
According to the organizers, the event aims to promote grassroots esports development by creating accessible opportunities for players to showcase their skills in a structured offline environment.
The tournament is open to all players who are ready to compete, reinforcing Esport Africa’s commitment to expanding esports participation across different regions in Nigeria.
