Free Lives reveal their latest project
South African independent game developer, Free Lives revealed their latest project “Anger Foot” during their publisher Devolver Digital‘s showcase at the 2022 Summer Games Fest held on Friday, June 10.
Anger Foot is a fast-paced action First-Person Shooter (FPS) which is set to see gamers smashing down doors and bad guys – who are anthropomorphic by the way – as they make their way to the exit, and according to Free Lives developer, Robbie Fraser a new demo is currently available on Steam.
“There’s a new demo available on Steam too! Please go play the demo and wishlist if you’d like to follow the development.” Robbie said in an itch.io post.
“The Steam demo is basically a shorter but more polished version of the itch prototype – with a boss fight and a few other new things! And don’t worry, we won’t be taking down the itch build – that’ll always be available for free.”
Gamers looking forward to the release of Free Lives’ Anger Foot will have to be patient as the game has been scheduled for a 2023 release on PCs.
Free Lives developer, Robbie Fraser also revealed that there is still work to be done on the game before it is finally released.
“Still a lot of work to do before the game is ready for a final release, but we just wanna say a massive thank you to everyone who played the game and supported us on itch.”
“We 100% wouldn’t have been able to make this into a full game without the support we’ve gotten here. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next chapter!”
