THE GROUP STAGE

The Group Stage was a one way match which consists of 4 players in each group, playing against each other. It was a battle of points for the top 2 where the bottom 2 had to be eliminated; this applies to both groups. In Group A, Emex emerged at the top of the table with a scintillating 9 points winning all his fixtures, followed by David who had 6 points from winning his first 2 fixtures and losing his last to Emex. Ken and Philip were sensational but not up to the task.
Group B had it’s own unique showdown right from the kick off with an interesting 3-3 draw between Frank and Tommy which they shared 1 points each, the 1 point proved to be pivotal to Tommy has he edged 2nd with 4 points above Omotosho who came third with 3 points. Adiza on the other end was unwavering focused, he slammed 9 points to his name winning all his fixtures.
THE SEMI FINALS

Emex and David were first and second respectively from Group A, while Adiza and Tommy were first and second from Group B. The four players were fixed straight to the Semi Finals,
EMEX VS TOMMY
Emex faced Tommy while Adiza faced David. In Fixture 1, Emex was 2 goals behind against Tommy when we thought we already had a finalist, Emex stepped up with a stunning comeback. The game ended with Emex victorious on a 3-2 lead.
ADIZA VS DAVID
Adiza showed character straight from the group stage to the Semi Finals, leaving no chances for mistakes, David tried to leave a mark but it was not enough as Adiza was just too focused on going for the final. It ended with a statement win of 6-3, which made us wonder who was going to win the finals? Adiza or Emex
THE GRAND FINAL
The final unlike the other fixtures was held at the Open Bar, in front of a large and energetic audience who roared for the Finalists. Emex vs Adiza, they won all matches from group stage straight to the finals. Some of the spectators predicted their winners, while the others were sited on the fence, undeciding on who could be the Champion. The game started and Emex was quick to silence his rival with 2 quick goals, Adiza knew he got something wrong so he made some tactical change. This proved to be troublesome as Adiza was quick to cover the 2 goal gap in no time, making his supporters believe there was still light to the dark start of the final.
Close to the end of the game at the 80th minute bracket, Emex led the game again making it sour in the throat of the opposition to swallow. Few minutes later, the final ended 3-2 with Emex taking the title of Champion. During his post match interview, he said “I tried but I should have played better, I was sure I’ve won already because I know how good I am“
