Mekan Games developed game reaches No.1
Last week saw Kenyan game developer, Mekan Games, hit an incredible landmark as their game “The President” reached No.1 in the Top Charts on both Google and Apple Stores.
The game which was published by casual and hyper-casual mobile games developer and publisher, CrazyLabs, is a President simulation game which sees you take charge of the White House as you make decisions that will either benefit or disadvantage your people.
“The President” was a product of CrazyLabs’ first South African Crazy Hub Initiative which was held in Cape Town back in May, and was created by the company’s VP of Publishing & Business Development, Omri Henkin.
Speaking about the achievement was the Founder and CEO of Maken Games, Evans Kiragu, who praised the team behind the game for the effort they put in to make it a reality.

As of writing, Mekan Games’ “The President” has dropped down to 5th place on the Google Play Store charts but has surpassed one million downloads.
