More Than a Game: How PUBG Mobile Changed My Life
It all started in 2018, I didn’t download PUBG Mobile because I wanted to be a gamer, I downloaded it out of pure curiosity. Growing up wasn’t easy for me, as a kid battling autism, the world always felt louder, faster, and harder to understand. Simple things other people found normal sometimes felt overwhelming to me. Making friends was tough, expressing myself was even tougher.
Most times, I felt like I was on the outside watching life instead of living it. A friend I made while in school 2018 was talking about a game everyone seemed to love PUBG Mobile. He kept explaining how you land on an island, search for weapons, and fight to be the last one standing. The excitement in his voice made me curious, so when I heard about PUBG Mobile, I decided to try it.
I downloaded it that same day, the first match was chaos, gunshots everywhere, enemies popping out of nowhere. My heart was racing, I didn’t survive long but something about it pulled me back in, instead of giving up, I played again… and again… and again, with every match, I grew braver, with every loss, I learned.
PUBGM slowly became my safe space, a place where I could focus, improve, and express myself without fear. In the game, I wasn’t judged for being quiet or different only for how well I played.
Over time, I became stronger, smarter, more confident, what started as a friend’s casual conversation in school turned into a journey that changed my life. PUBG Mobile didn’t just teach me how to fight in a virtual battleground , it taught me how to fight in real life too.
It showed me that curiosity can open doors, challenges can shape strength, and even a simple game can become a turning point.
From that day in 2018 till now, I’ve kept pushing forward growing, learning, and proving to myself that I’m capable of more than I ever imagined and my story is still being written.
