Day 2 of the ongoing 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Africa Fall has seen Moroccan esports organisation, One Million Esports, maintain its lead at the top of the table.

The Moroccan team of Mouad “ELCHAPO” Mokhtari, Salah “MARSHALL” Khomri, Oussama “LAZY” Tourki, Omar “Senku” Mrabet and Ali El “VENOM” Amri have dominated since the beginning of the competition, racking up a combined 152 points, 38 points ahead of their closest rivals, Slime 4kT of Nigeria.

One Million Esports will, however, have to maintain their focus as there are still 25 rounds remaining in the competition and a few slip-ups could see them lose ground and the chance to secure a huge chunk of the $100,000 prize pool as well as a spot in the 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Middle East & Africa Championship Fall.

That may not be difficult for the Moroccan team, which is no stranger to victory, having won the 2022 International Africa Gaming Cup (IAGC), beating out fellow Moroccan side One Round Esports and Zimbabwean team Lag Esports to secure the $3,500 first place prize.

The 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Africa Fall brings together 20 of the continent’s best PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) teams to do battle in a completely online tournament from August 30 to October 2 for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool and the 6 available spots for the 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Middle East & Africa Championship Fall.
