Playerstate partners with Astronic Esports
Playerstate, a game company based in London, has announced a partnership with Astronic Esports, a Sub-Saharan African Rocket League team.
The partnership, according to Playerstate, would see the company assist the Astronic Esports rosters “Excited to announce that we are partnering with Astronic Esports to support their esports rosters. Competing in the Sub-Saharan Africa Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), we are happy to be involved deeper into Rocket League.”
Playerstate is a social platform that connects the global creator community to game authoring tools, educators, game studios, and game publishers. According to the organisation, its mission is to “lower the barrier to entry for creators in the games industry.”
Following the announcement, Astronic Esports issued a statement “We are proud to announce a new partnership with Playerstate! Playerstate is a social platform made by gamers for gamers, and the best part, they run tons of challenges with prize pools of $300+ per week. We are super excited to start working with them!”
Astronic Esports, an English esports organisation founded earlier this year, is currently fielding a South African Rocket League team. The team placed 11th in the 2022-2023 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Sub-Saharan Africa Regional—Fall Cup, which was held entirely online from October 28 to 30.
