Across two consecutive days, Nigeria’s Free Fire community demonstrated that esports is about more than competition it is also about connection.
On 27 June 2026, the DECA CUP Free Fire Season 5 Grand Finals hosted by 10N8E brought together top teams from across the country to compete for championship honours. Fans packed the venue as players battled through high-pressure matches, with outstanding performances highlighting the growing level of talent within Nigeria’s Free Fire scene.
While the tournament celebrated competitive excellence, the story did not end there.
On 28 June 2026, Community specialist at Garena Oluwaseun (SENEZ) Aladelo hosted members of the community for Free Fire, an informal gathering that gave players, organizers, creators, and fans an opportunity to reflect on the tournament, build new relationships, and discuss the future of the game in Nigeria.
