Yuba Rahamani, Video Editor for the Ghanaian esports organisation GiiKs Game City (GGC), has been appointed as the Standardization Director of the Ghana Esports Federation (GeSF).

This was revealed by the GeSF on their official Twitter handle, stating that they “believe [in] the process of developing, promoting, and possibly mandating standards-based and compatible technologies and processes within [the] ecosystem.”

The Ghana Esports Federation (GeSF) has been making a lot of moves this month, filling in a number of important roles in the organisation as they continue their push to promote esports in the West African nation.

Yuba joins an ever-growing list of impressive additions, which includes names such as Delali Phrank Awutey, who is an experienced digital media consultant and content creator, working with the likes of Ghanaian Premier League (GPL) side Dreams FC.

“[It’s a] pleasure to be part of a growing industry, and [my] honour to share my experience to bring esports closer to every Ghana[ian]. Cheers to good days ahead,” Delali said following his appointment.

Another impressive name to join the GeSF is Henry Boye, who will be serving as the organisation’s Strategic Partnership, which, according to the GeSF, will see the Head of Youth Banking at Ecobank “responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among GeSF partners.”

August has already seen the appointments of Delali Phrank Awutey (Communication Director), Oscar Mawuli Nuwati (Deputy Communication Director), Henry Boye (Strategic Partnership), Sergio-Francis Essien (Technical Director), Ebenezer Nii Tackie Laryea (Vice President), Samuel Amankwaa-Frempong (Deputy Vice President), Rev. Nicky Kwame Oduro (Treasurer), Kenneth Ato Bilson Ogoe (Deputy Treasurer), and Samuel Osei (Players Commissioner).
