The free version of Virago reaches 1K downloads
Two days after releasing the free version of his popular hyper-casual 2D adventure platformer dubbed “Virago Runner” on the Google Play Store. Sunday Akor has revealed that the game currently has over 1,000 downloads.
Akor who is the founder of Virago developers Honest Chronicle also revealed on LinkedIn that the game currently ranks 30th on the Google Play Store’s new and treading page.
“I am so happy to announce that my very first hyper-casual game Virago Runner currently has over 1000 downloads on the Google Play Store in just 2 days of release and currently ranks at 30 in the Google Play Store new and trending.” the Virago developer stated
Virago Runner is the free version of Honest Chronicle’s Virago which tells the story of Willow, a young girl called who after an incident with her stalker begins to suffer from hallucinations which affect her psychologically and emotionally.
The game has so far received mixed reviews on Steam – where it was initially released – but following some fine-tuning by Akor the game has so far received fairly positive reactions following the game’s release on the Google Play Store.
“So happy with all the positive reception I am getting from my fans! They’re currently asking for more projects and my love for game development makes me want to continue more games just for them.” Akor said
