Africa’s reps for the GIRLGAMER decided
Africa’s representatives for the upcoming League of Legends (LoL) and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) competitions at the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival have been decided.
The festival which is set to kick off from June 25 – 26 at the ATK Arena is a celebration of women’s competitiveness in video games. The event is set to bring some of the best female LoL and CS: GO teams from around the world to do battle.
Africa had to select four reps to compete at the event and after registrations were wrapped up and a Playoff held, the continent finally had their best competitors for the festival.
The four reps to do battle at the League of Legends (LoL) tournament are Team Valkyrie, Valerie, Harlequins and Youko. Africa’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) are RE ACCE Esports, ATK Esports, DNMK Esports and Kitten.
South Africa is the first stop for the 2022 GIRLGAMER Esports Festival and is set to kick off at the ATK Arena in Cape Town from June 25 – 26.
