Delali Phrank Awutey appointed by GeSF

The Ghana eSports Federation (GeSF) has announced the appointment of Delali Phrank Awutey as the organisation’s Communication Director.

The GeSF revealed Delali’s appointment alongside his deputy, Oscar Mawuli Nuwati, on social media, explaining the roles of the two men.

“They are responsible for establishing relationships with media outlets, developing strategic marketing plans, and handling public relations issues that arise internally or externally.” A statement from the GeSF read.

Delali is an experienced digital media consultant and a content creator, working with the likes of Ghanaian Premier League (GPL) side Dreams FC as well as Digi Dela Consult. The GeSF will be hoping his experience will help the organisation achieve its goals.

On social media, Delali would speak following his appointment, stating that he was honoured to be a part of the growing Ghanaian esports industry. “[It’s a] pleasure to be part of a growing industry, and [my] honour to share my experience to bring esports closer to every Ghana[ian]. Cheers to good days ahead.”

Oscar also spoke following his appointment, calling it an honour and stating his excitement to work under Delali Phrank Awutey. “What an Honor! Words cannot describe how pleased I am to be given such a huge platform to showcase my abilities in the esports community globally. I am so much elated to have you, Delali Phrank Awutey, as my boss. Work begins now!!!”
