With only a few days until the inaugural edition of the African Call of Duty League (ACDL) begins, the tournament’s organisers have unveiled the teams who will make history by participating in the event.

Arudem, Uganda’s first professional esports organisation, and Ghanaian esports titans, PlayProvince, will play alongside Tonka, Skare, Swerv, Yollo ZA, Skids, and Nemesis at the maiden edition of the event. This was revealed by Gaming Squads—who are supporters of the event—on their official Twitter handle stating.

“It’s on. 5th Nov 2022AD. We have the top 8 sub-Saharan ACDL teams squaring it out. Who’s gonna take pole position and gloat? Stay tuned.”

The ACDL is the inaugural African Call of Duty League, with teams competing in a 4v4 double elimination competition on multiple maps and modes every weekend in November to crown the ultimate Call of Duty African champion.

The competition will begin on November 5 and will feature eight of the continent’s best teams competing entirely online for the chance to become the first-ever ACDL champion as well as a major portion of the $500 prize pool.
