Acer is starting a full online Rocket League competition with the Predator League that will have a total cash prize pool of €90,000 (cash reward plus hardware).

The tournament, which is accessible to everyone regardless of skill level, will begin in 15 nations with three competition stages, starting with national qualifiers and ending on November 20 with the international Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Final.

Acer announced the EMEA Predator League 2022, taking its commitment to grassroots esports to the next level: a new game, more countries, and a larger prize pool.

From September to November, teams from the EMEA region can compete in the popular 3v3 mode of the high-powered arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem game “Rocket League.”

The 2022 edition will include exclusive promotions from 15 local retail partners, as well as community giveaways, raffles, and much more, in addition to action-packed esports fun and fantastic prizes.

“We are very excited to announce the second season of the EMEA Predator League after its initial season in 2020,” said Hajo Blingen, Vice President of Marketing, Acer Europe, Middle East & Africa.

“With our world-leading gaming portfolio, it is important to always reinvent ourselves. The EMEA Predator League 2022 ties in with our commitment to make esports accessible for everyone competing in Rocket League.”

“At the same time, fans can look forward to special offers and promotions from our involved retail partners.” Hajo further stated.

Eligible for the National Qualifier are teams from the following countries and regions:

Europe: Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg), DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden), Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, United Kingdom (UK)

Middle East: Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Africa: South Africa

Two of the three players must be citizens of their respective countries. The virtual pitch matches are played 3v3.

Teams compete in the National Qualifiers in the first stage. Each country has two qualifier rounds. The top two teams from each round advance to the National Finals.

The final winner will compete in the EMEA International Final against champions from other countries. The [Middle East] National Finals will take place on November 12 and will be broadcast live on Twitch, with the grand final taking place on November 20 on twitch.tv/PredatorGaming.

Registration for the Predator League begins on September 26 and runs until October 21. All other dates, information, streams, and details can be found at www.predatorleague.gg.
