AllGamesGH’s Xplosion hires a Team Manager
Ghana esports new boys, Xplosion of AllGamesGH have announced the signing of Joel Opoku Asomani as the club’s Team Manager.
Asomani who is also known as “CJay” brings with him a wealth of experience having served as Manager of Repro Esports, and according to AllGamesGH Chairman Marvin Akowuah-Dantey it was Asomani’s “experience in managing players” that won him over.
Marvin also revealed that Asomani will be in charge of the team’s scouting as well as develop the club’s esports operations and help in the production of content for the team’s social media platforms among others.
Xplosion was founded by Ghanaian gaming retailer, AllGamesGH, and was officially launched on Thursday, May 26 with AllGamesGH Chairman Marvin Akowuah-Dantey stating his dream to help gamers reach their full potential.
“We decided to come up with Xplosion to help gamers who had the potential to become pros realise their dreams,” Marvin said in an exclusive interview with EAN.
Marvin also revealed that AllGamesGH plans to use its shops and gaming hubs across Accra to develop Xplosion into a team that can take on the world.
“We have a modern hub where [the team] will use as a training hub and we will provide them with all they need to meet the world standards when it comes to gaming.”
“We are looking at getting the best technical people to help out gamers get to the top,” the AllGamesGH Chairman further stated.
Xplosion is set to reveal its FIFA and Mortal Kombat team at its kit sponsor ShopGH‘s upcoming esports tournament to be held at the Marina Mall in mid-June.
