Bravado Gaming champs of RLCS 2021-22

South African esports organisation, Bravado Gaming, are the 2021/2022 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) – Spring: Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Event 2 champions defeating Orlando Pirates Exdee in the Grand Final with a score of 4:3; 4:0.
The competition which kicked off from May 20 to 22 was held completely online as 16 teams from the African continent did battle for a prize pool of $15,000, as well as to gain rating points for the 2021/2022 RLCS – World Championship.

Bravado began their run to the title with confident victories over Sweaty’s Children (3:0), ICE Esports (3:0) and ATK (4:1). However, in the final of the upper bracket, the team would suffer defeat against eventual finalists Orlando Pirates Exdee (3:4) and fell to the bottom of the championship.
Bravado Gaming would then defeat DNMK Esports (4:2) and advanced to the Grand Final, where they took revenge on Orlando Pirates Exdee (4:3; 4:0) to clinch the title.
The South African esports organisation’s victory means they have booked their place in the 2021/2022 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) – World Championship to be held in Fort Worth, Dallas from August 4 to 14.
