Burger King & COD collab in South Africa
Burger King has partnered with Call of Duty (COD) for the release of Modern Warfare 2 and is providing some yummy treats to consumers who play Modern Warfare 2 globally and in South Africa.
Anyone who buys a Call of Duty meal at Burger King will receive a redeemable ticket. This code grants Modern Warfare 2 players a double XP token as well as the BK Operator skin. The 2XP token lasts for one hour, but you may get up to 40 hours of tokens if you buy enough COD meals at your local Burger King. This promotion is valid from November 1 to 30, 2022.
A Burger King COD: Modern Warfare 2 game station will begin travelling across South Africa on November 7, according to a press release. It will make stops at Burger King locations in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.
You will not only receive the first prizes listed in this post, but you will also have the opportunity to play a trial version of Modern Warfare 2 and compete on a leaderboard. Competitors will be entered into an additional drawing for prizes such as Modern Warfare 2, gaming monitors, gaming headsets, Burger Town T-Shorts, and even Burger King meal coupons.
Burger King South Africa will announce the exact locations on social media.
This all culminates in an exciting “Going-Dark” event, which takes place from November 24 to 26 at the N1 City Burger King in Cape Town.
“At the Going-Dark events, the game will literally be brought to life, after-dark, and Burger King customers will have the opportunity to don night-vision goggles and enter the “Going-Dark Tunnel” for a fully immersive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II challenge experience. There will also be a NXTLevel zone with other fun Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II activities, including surprise celebrity appearances.”
