GuyKhobby & Akorpha7 are LevelUp Land champs
Team Falcon GH‘s Isabella “Akorpha7” Esi Akorfa and GuyKhobby of Team Osmos are the LevelZ Up NBA 2K22 and LevelZ Up FIFA 22 champs, respectively.
The two gamers claimed victory during the second edition of the LevelUp Land event held over the weekend on July 30 at the Otium Game Hub in Accra, Ghana.
The event was organised by multicultural female-owned brand marketing and communications firm, Levels Unlocked, and was supported by the Esports Association, Ghana (EAG), with the main emphasis being on educating gamers on some health and wellness techniques to take their game to the next level.
Akorpha7 took on some of Ghana’s best female gamers a triumphed claiming the first-place prize which was a headset from gaming gear company HyperX, which was responsible for all prizes and giveaways at the event.
GuyKhobby was recently named as one of Ghana’s best FIFA gamers by GFA eTrophy champion Prince Jonas in his list of the country’s Top 10 FIFA gamers. GuyKhobby however criticized Prince Jonas’ selection stating on Twitter that “only four names [are] legit for that list top.”
Also featuring at the LevelUp Land event was the Health-e-Gamer Summit, which was led by CEO of Levels Unlocked, Dr. Melita N. Moore and Washington Wizards’ Assistant Athletic Trainer Carlos Bustamante. The event also featured a Virtual Reality (VR) zone.
