Get ready for an exciting new African-animated sci-fi anthology series on Disney+! The much-anticipated Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire has just released its first trailer. Featuring 10 episodes, this series showcases the futuristic visions of a talented group of animation stars hailing from Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt. Drawing inspiration from Africa’s rich cultural and historical heritage, Kizazi Moto promises to be a unique and unforgettable viewing experience.

The upcoming African animated sci-fi series, which is produced by South African animation studio Triggerfish in partnership with Disney, boasts an impressive cast of African talent. The series will showcase the acting skills of Florence Kasumba (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Kehinde Bankole (Blood Sisters), Pearl Thusi (Queen Sono), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Hotel Rwanda, Godzilla vs. Kong), Sheila Munyiva (Rafiki), Stycie Waweru (Supa Modo, Supa Sema), Candice Modiselle (Generations: The Legacy), Lillian Dube (Soul City), Clementine Mosimane (Poppie Nongena), and Mandisa Nduna (Blood Psalms).

The show will also feature popular comedians such as Tumi Morake (Serious Single), Sne Dladla (Black Tax), and Tyson Ngubeni (A Royal Surprise), as well as top rappers Nasty C (Blood & Water) and Gigi Lamayne (Temptation Island: South Africa).

Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire promises to showcase the animation talents of a diverse group of artists from across the continent. Each short in the 10-part series is expected to be at least 10 minutes long, providing ample time for viewers to appreciate the vision and skill of the featured animators: Ahmed Teilab (Egypt), Simangaliso ‘Panda’ Sibaya and Malcolm Wope (South Africa), Terence Maluleke and Isaac Mogajane (South Africa), Ng’endo Mukii (Kenya), Shofela Coker (Nigeria), Nthato Mokgata and Catherine Green (South Africa), Pious Nyenyewa and Tafadzwa Hove (Zimbabwe), Tshepo Moche (South Africa), Raymond Malinga (Uganda), and Lesego Vorster (South Africa) are just some of the talented artists contributing to this groundbreaking series.
