Melanin Gamers to host Royal Showdown
US-based esports organisation, Melanin Gamers has partnered with Ghanaian gaming lounge Arena 233 Esports Centre to organise the organisation’s first-ever IRL and online Apex Legends tournament in Ghana.
The tournament dubbed “Apex Legends: Royal Showdown” is set to be hosted by Apex Predator, AgentTripleA and Ghanaian Caustic player Lady Legasus on July 9 at the Arena 233 Esports Centre in Accra as well as online.
“Who will be crowned victor in the ultimate showdown between Kings & Queens in our first IRL & online tournament,” Melanin Gamers stated when announcing the competition.
The prize pool for the competition has yet to be revealed however according to Melanin Gamers it will be sponsored by video game giants Electronic Arts (EA).
