Neymar & Pogba gear up for Modern Warfare 2
The Call of Duty video game franchise is still one of the most popular in the world. Their most recent game, Modern Warfare 2, will bridge the gap between first-person shooter games and sports games.
According to leaked screenshots, two of the world’s most famous football players, Neymar and Paul Pogba, will be playable characters in the latest instalment of the Infinity Ward franchise.
Crossovers are nothing new in Call of Duty; the game has incorporated in-game skins for characters such as Rambo, Jigsaw, and Frank the Rabbit. For Attack on Titan fans, the most recent celebration of the renowned brand includes in-game cosmetic goods. This trend does not appear to be changing, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 already establishing partnerships with well-known companies such as Burger King.
While Neymar and Pogba have been featured in the new game, players may also have access to other footballers. According to rumours, Lionel Messi will eventually be introduced as a playable character in Modern Warfare 2, which will drive football fanatics nuts.
ChuBoi, a Twitter user, recently shared these photographs of the two athletes, who are equipped in battle gear and ready to fight. Despite not publicly revealing this intriguing collaboration, Activision may do so soon given the authenticity of the in-game models exhibited. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on all major platforms on October 28.
