Global esports company NODWIN Gaming has released a teaser for Season 5 of the Inkosi Super Cup and the Umzansi Esports League.

The teaser doesn’t reveal much in terms of details for the upcoming competitions only revealing that FIFA22 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) will be featured. However, we can look at the previous season to get a baseline as to how the competition could play out.

According to the NODWIN Gaming website, The Inkosi Super Cup is single elimination with a best of 2 aggregate matches for FIFA, and a single-elimination battle royale bracket with a best of 3 maps final for PUBG Mobile.

Following the completion of each cup, the registration process continues for these respective titles. This process will go on until the completion of the cup system.

The leaderboard structure will look at overall wins and placement points to which the top 2 players for FIFA and top 16 teams for PUBG Mobile across all 8 weeks collectively will qualify for the promotion/relegation matches against players and teams of the previous season’s Umzansi Esports League.

The Umzansi Esports League is NODWIN Gaming’s pinnacle seasonal esports tournament in Africa. This league features the best teams, players, and talent from across the continent.

Each season runs over a three-month period and is divided up into a group, promotion/relegation, and grand final stages.

The league is a qualify-only league where only the best teams and players from the Inkosi Super Cup stand a chance to be promoted in the promotion/relegation phase at the end of the season.

No date for the upcoming Season 5 has been released. We will update you whenever any news from the competition comes up.
