Rockstar Games has revealed that pre-loading is available for pre-ordered digital copies of Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV) and Grand Theft Auto Online through either the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console store or Microsoft Store.

The news comes after the video game publisher revealed that both games are set to arrive on the latest generation (gen) consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) on 15th March 2022.

The game will feature new graphics modes including up to 4K resolution, a framerate of up to 60 frames per second, improved texture qualities, HDR options and ray tracing, faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, platform-specific features, and more.

Players can also transfer both their GTAV Story Mode progress and their current GTA Online characters and progression from PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, or across console platforms, with a one-time migration for each.

These new versions of GTAV and GTA Online will also feature the Career Builder which is designed to give new players — or anyone who wants to reset their character and get a fresh start — a helpful leg-up in the criminal world of Southern San Andreas.
